Building the Fiber Route Beyond Zion
IEC crews install underground conduit alongside highway 89 near Mt. Carmel Junction, Utah.
IEC crews are installing underground conduit along the highway corridor from Zion National Park alongside Highway 89 up toward I-15 as part of an ongoing project for BHI. The work follows our installation of fiber conduit through Zion National Park.
In the photo, our crew is using a plow and dozer to place conduit alongside the roadway. Each stretch takes coordination between the equipment operators and ground crew as they guide the conduit into place and keep the work moving safely near traffic.
It’s rewarding to see the route take shape beyond Zion. We’re proud of the IEC crew doing the work on the ground and glad to continue supporting BHI on this project.
